Ⅰ.Warming up(5minutes) 1.Greeting (New year,the weather, date, day, mood…..) 2.Try to lead students to practice object clause to introduce the new grammar. Ⅱ. Presentation(10 minutes) 1.Present the sentences on a screen or on a small blackboard.Divide the sentences presented into two columns.The main sentence in column A is the simple present tense, and the main sentence in column B is the simple past tense. 2.Write the sentences of the Student composition on the blackboard. She asks me what I am going to do this weekend. He asks whether it will be sunny tomorrow. He says he wants to buy a new T-shirt. He said the fashion show is really wonderful. She said she will buy a new dress. She asked me what I am doing . … 3.Check the result and correct the mistakes in time, with different colors of chalk to mark, in order to attract students’ attention. Ⅲ. Consolidation(10 minutes) 1.Ss work in pairs to practice the new grammar and pay attention to the tense and person. 2.2 minutes later, choose some pairs to present. Besides paying attention to the change of tense, we should also pay attention to the change of person. She asked how Helen liked the dress. Finish 1a (5 minutes) 1.Let the Ss read 1a and find out the object clauses and speak out one of them.. But Kangkang said he watched it. And he said the fashion show was wonderful. 2.After Ss find out all the object clauses, ask them if they have any other questions, then let Ss read 1a in roles. Ⅴ.Make a report and conversation: (12 minutes) Finish 1c (4 minutes) 1.Let the Ss number the sentences in 1c to make a conversation, then check the answer. 2.Let students in pairs practice the conversation. Finish 3 (8 minutes) 1.Let the Ss look at the pictures in 3and pay attention to their dressing.Then listen to the passage in 3 and match the models with their names. 2.check the answer. 3.Let the Ss listen to 3 again and fill in the blanks in 3. Tell them don’t try to complete the blanks at one time they can just write something to make a mark to remind them later. 4.Let the Ss listen to 3 one more time and ask them to try to catch all the information they need. 5.Give them one minute to complete the blanks,and then check the answers. Ⅵ.:Summarizing and assigning Homework(3minutes) 1.T invites students to summarize what they have learned today . We have learned the object clause of the past tense. If the main clause is in past tense, we should change the subordinate clause into past tense. 2.Assign the HMK. Turn the given sentences into object clauses.
